Greenheart Traveler
With the aim of promoting the 'Greenheart message' around the world, via personal exchanges with communities and other conscious individuals, travelling members of the rapidly growing Greenheart family will leave their Blogs and photos on this section of our website.
Their adventures will be well documented using available internet facilities en-route, communicating interesting aspects of their travels to our main Greenheart office at Casita Verde model ecological centre in Ibiza. By visiting many different communities enroute, Greenheart travellers will also demonstrate how a more sustainable way of life is not only very accessible but also has a wealth of advantages for both the individual and for the health of our fragile natural environment.
the Greenheart travel project will hopefully lead the way to establish a special contact with other environmental awareness initiatives, as well as to help found a new and exciting method of connecting more people to the important role played by all human beings in the future evolution of our planet Earth.
Greenheart traveller Mike Macleod
Backed by sponsors CCI (USA) and Greenheart Ibiza, Mike Macleod is currently travelling in Central America, visiting sites and centres which are of cultural and ecological interest, as well as those that would potentially take on volunteers. Mike's aim is to increase awareness of Greenheart and CCI, whilst making connections with fantastic people, co-operatives and other green initiatives in these parts.
In the photo above we see Mike visiting an ecological women's weaving co-operative, who use home-spun organic cotton and natural dyes, in the town of San Juan de la Laguna, Lake Atitlán, Guatemala. In the background are two members of ecological project connections outfit, Econexiones Unidas.
